One of the first courses I ever built was Shinnecock. It's been updated a few times but really needed an overhaul. Shinnecock is thought to be one of, if not the very best golf course in the world. It's currently ranked 4th by Golf Digest. It's a very stern test. I recommend playing it with my recommended settings so that it plays truest to real life conditions - Stimp 12 or 13, firm fairways and greens. I've also added Shinnecock's short course - a simple nine hole par 3 that so few will ever get a chance to play.
