Large open fairways and undulating greens make this course challenging for even the best of handicaps. Golf Digest ranked the Painted Valley Golf Course at Promontory the Third Best “New Private Course” in the U.S. in 2007. Jack Nicklaus designed the Painted Valley Golf Course in a links style to flow alongside a stream, through Promontory’s high-altitude valleys.
