Happy Masters Week, everyone!

Growing up in Maryland, we had four distinct seasons. I vividly remember feeling like it was officially "golf season" whenever Masters Week arrived, even if the weather wasn't quite ready yet. Now living in Alabama, things are a bit different weather-wise, but Masters Week is still one of my favorite times of the year. It’s also the time when I first fell in love with golf, specifically watching the unforgettable '86 Masters. I was 12 years old, glued to the TV as Jack made birdie after birdie down the stretch. Funny how clearly I remember that moment from nearly 40 years ago, yet I can’t recall dinner from two nights ago...

A Quick Course Update:

As of this morning, I've removed GGC from the public course list, following last night’s final publicly available update. GGC Fall will remain available exclusively here on Patreon. A huge thank you to everyone who helped with extensive testing—I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

What’s Next:

My focus has shifted fully to Cabot Cliffs. I'm currently working through a detailed task list to bring you another great course update.

New Course Voting & Clarification:

Thanks for your suggestions on the next courses! I'll go through your recommendations and select popular choices that have publicly available lidar data and aren't already planned for imminent public release elsewhere.

Quick note on why certain courses aren’t feasible yet (like Cabot Citrus Farms, Cabot St. Lucia, or some overseas locations): Those courses in "other simulators" have been privately commissioned, with lidar data collected exclusively for that project. Unfortunately, public lidar data often doesn’t exist for these courses, and private lidar collection isn’t something we can legally or practically undertake. Even pooling our resources wouldn’t overcome legal or logistical hurdles—no lidar company would risk violating private agreements. I wanted to clear that up since it's come up a few times.

And Finally:

I just went through the monthly task of removing access for Patreon accounts that are no longer in an active tier. This is a manual and somewhat cumbersome process, but it is what it is. If you find that you no longer have access to my courses but believe you should, it could be that your card was declined. Please double-check that before reaching out to me.

Stay tuned—I’ll have a voting thread up within the next week for our next build!

Enjoy Masters Week, everyone!
