Update Before my Vacation

Hey everyone, I was really hoping to get the first beta of Ballantrae out to you all before my trip, but life had other plans...

I’m super sorry, but I’m not going to be able to get a version out ahead of my trip after all. I 100% planned to, but my PC crashed this morning and I lost about 4 hours of work (I was deep in the zone and hadn’t saved—rookie move, I know). That’s set me back just enough that I have to hit pause.

And honestly, I still have a bunch of real-life stuff to catch up on before I go—including mowing my lawn, which is turning into a jungle. I just mowed 4 days ago and already it looks like it could choke the mower. We’ve had one of the wettest Mays on record around here. I used to mow every 6-7 days, now it’s every 4-5. Crazy.

Anyway, I really hate to delay the course, but trust me, it’s going to be worth the wait—especially for the Game of Thrones fans out there. I keep coming up with ideas for it too, so more to come. Here’s another sneak peek before I head out.
