🪶 Bringing One Back to Life

Hey everyone — I’ve got a little surprise. There’s a course that’s been hiding for quite some time — one that I had to take down a while ago for copyright reasons — and now it’s getting a second chance.

If you’ve been around a while, you might remember my old Boston Golf Club build. It’s one of the most rugged, character-filled courses I’ve ever worked on… windswept bunkers, scruffy edges, wild fairway contours, and that unmistakable New England woodland look and a beautifully designed Gil Hanse creation.

I’ve decided to I'm bringing this one to v4 with all the latest goodness — every tree, every bunker, every detail — using all my latest tools and biomes. It wasn’t something the community asked for this time, but I can promise you: it’s going to be worth it. It’ll stand as one of those “hidden gems” that fits perfectly in the Tekbud collection — a pure player’s course that feels natural, raw, and handcrafted.

Before I move on to Te Arai, I want to bring this one back to life — but with a new name. That’s where you come in.

Here are a few ideas I’m considering:

Granite Hollow

Old Waverly Ridge

Pilgrim’s Rest Golf Club

Milton Downs

Whispering Pines Reserve

New England National

I’d love to hear what you think it should be called. Drop your favorite name in the comments or suggest something completely new.

This course has that wild, earthy charm that I love — and I can’t wait for you to see how far it’s come.

Stay tuned for progress shots soon. – Brent (Tekbud)
