⛳ NEW COURSE: TBC Marsh Bay

Charleston, South Carolina. Sea marsh, live oaks, and a routing that climbs the only piece of high ground for miles. If you've ever driven the Lowcountry you know exactly the kind of land this sits on. Wide horizons, big sky, salt in the air, and a course that uses every foot of elevation it has.

The site does most of the work. Bulls Bay is famous for the man-made hill that gives the back nine its panoramic views, and getting that elevation to feel right in GSPro was the whole job. Too much and it stops feeling like the Lowcountry. Too little and you lose the moment. I think we landed it.

A few things I'm particularly happy with on this build:

  • The marsh framing on the par 3s. The yardage tells you one thing, the visual tells you something else, and both matter.
  • The green complexes. Strantz greens are not subtle and I didn't try to make them subtle. If you miss on the wrong side you're putting back over a slope you can't see the bottom of.

You all picked this one out of the Round 28 vote and the LiDAR was sitting there ready to go. Big thanks to everyone who nominated it and rallied votes.

Available now to Patreon members in GSPro. Go play it and let me know what you think in the comments.

Monterey Peninsula is up next. Keep grinding.
