In my early twenties, I left home in Maryland and moved to Florida chasing a dream. I was going to make it in golf.

I worked as an assistant pro, then a head pro. Lived and breathed the game. But the deeper I got, the more frustrated I became, old school thinking, rigid traditions, an industry protecting how things had always been done.

That drove me out. I spent the next twenty years in IT, building systems, solving problems, making complex things work.

But golf never left me. It's the kind of game that doesn't let go.

So I started building virtual courses. First as a hobby. Then as an obsession. Over a decade and 300+ courses across multiple platforms later, someone told me I may have built more virtual golf courses than anyone on the planet 🌍😏. What I know for sure:

There is no secret. There's only work.

And here's what a decade of building courses taught me: courses don't make you better. Pressure does. Reps do. The most beautiful course in the world is just scenery if every round means nothing.
