How RISE Works

RISE turns your simulator into a career. But it works a little differently than people expect — so here's the whole thing, start to finish.

The one thing to know up front: RISE is not a GSPro plugin. There's nothing to install. You play in GSPro like always — RISE gives the round meaning around it.

1

RISE hands you a challenge

Open RISE and it gives you the next course to play, with a target score calibrated to your exact ability — plus the conditions: tees, pins, wind, firmness. Not a generic par. A number built for you.

The target moves as you improve. Always reachable, never free.

A RISE challenge: Lahontan, full 18, target score 70, with pins, firmness, wind and tee selection.
2

You play it in GSPro — like any round

This is the part people overthink. There's nothing to install and no integration to set up. You just play the round in GSPro the way you always do, on your own sim, following the conditions RISE gave you. Play all the holes. Keep your real score.

RISE is not a GSPro plugin. It runs alongside your sim, not inside it.

Right inside GSPro, on your own sim. No setup, no plugin, no integration.

3

Enter your score

Back in RISE, type in what you shot. Add a few optional stats — fairways, greens, putts — if you want sharper feedback and smarter future challenges. Honor system. The whole thing only works if you're honest with it, because you're really competing against yourself.

4

RISE grades you — and tells you why

Beat the target and you advance. Miss it and RISE shows you exactly what cost you: approach, driving, putting, scoring, each measured against your own usual. Then you run it back. Every round is feedback, not just a pass or fail.

5

It tells you what to work on next

RISE doesn't just keep score — it coaches you. It measures your game against players at your exact level and calls out your biggest gap, whether that's off the tee, approach, putting, or scoring. No guessing what to practice. Open RISE and it tells you, then points you at the round that fixes it.

Your strengths and weaknesses, measured — not guessed.

The RISE focus panel: 'Off the tee is your biggest gap, 47% fairways vs 60% at your level,' with skill bars rating off-the-tee, approach, putting and scoring.
6

Your climb gets tracked — and ranked

Every round feeds your Rise Index and your Rise Score. You watch the line move over time, earn titles and badges, and climb a leaderboard that rewards how much you've improved — not how naturally good you already are.

Everyone starts at zero. Then you climb.

The leaderboard ranks improvement, not raw talent. A 20-handicap grinding down to a 15 outranks a scratch player who stayed put. That's the whole point of RISE.

The RISE leaderboard ranking players by Rise Score and strokes gained.

That's the whole loop.
