About This Course

My version of Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club in Leesburg, Virginia, the Round 31 vote winner. It is the only Gary Player Signature course in Virginia, laid out over the old Raspberry Plain in Loudoun County horse country, and the thing everybody remembers is the Scottish-style stacked-sod bunkers. You do not see those anywhere else in this part of the country. Rolling fairways, rock outcroppings, native grass framing the corridors, and greens with plenty of movement. Big views from the elevated tees, especially when the sun gets low. It photographs like a links course but plays like Virginia countryside, and it is a really fun walk.
